Corona Virus ( COVID-19) has been declared a disaster by World Health Organization due to its threat to human life.  Since it's outbreak in Wuhan, China, the disease has killed many in China and abroad. To prevent their citizens from the disease that is transferred through human contact, many countries have suspended flights to and from China.

Recently Kenya resumed flights to and from China despite national uproar.  Chinese flights have been allowed in and out of the country despite the risk this poses .The government has argued that the flights will continue flying as suspending the same amounts to descrimination.

While everyone hopes that the disease is contained and stands with the infected and affected ,it is careless to assume that Kenya is ready to handle Corona Virus when there has not been any proof to that effect.

Kenya needs to suspend all flights  to and from China as this poses a national risk to millions of lives.
