Hon.Peter Katjavivi: Reject motion pushing for abortion in Namibia
Namibia is being pushed by international pro-abortion groups to legalize the killing of pre-born babies through abortion. Recently, IPAS arranged a meeting with members of parliament and other public servants to lure them into legalizing abortion in the country. A number of members of parliament refused to meet the International pro-abortion group, but a few greedy ones did. After this meeting, we have seen a concerted effort especially by the Ministry of Health to make sure abortion is made legal in Namibia.
The Health Minister has made public utterances assuring the nation of his commitment to legalize abortion while his deputy rushed to table a motion in the National Assembly which would discuss and pass legal abortion in the country.
Abortion is illegal in Namibia under the Abortion and Sterilisation Act of South Africa, it is thus unacceptable that public servants are being used to push for illegalities while serving the interests of abortionists.
Namibians are opposed to the killing of their pre-born babies through abortion, they have raised an uproar against this motion by the Deputy Health Minister Ester Muinjangue .
Sign this petition asking the speaker of the National Assembly of Namibia Hon. Prof. Peter Katjavivi, MP to reject the motion tabled by the Deputy Health Minister Ester Muinjangue with immediate effect.
