THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN KILLED BECAUSE OF THEIR FAITH IN CHRIST
End christian genocide and persecution in Nigeria
End christian genocide and persecution in Nigeria
Every other week in Nigeria, there is a kidnapping or a murder of an innocent citizen due to their faith by either militant Fulani herdsmen or the Islamic terrorist group, Boko Haram. The government of Nigeria has not acted to so many pleas local and international to stop this persecution and serve justice to those who have died or still being held captive.
In the recent three months, the kidnappings especially of priests and pastors as they go to serve christians have escalated to the worst . They are targeted and killed on the spot on their way to churches or to serve christians. This has instilled fear in the followers who depend on these priests and pastors for shepherding. It seems the whole agenda of the millitants is to wipe out christianity in Nigeria by way of kidnapping, murder , holding them in captivity and persecuting them.
Children have not been spared as they are kidnapped, held captive in forests , made slaves and the not so lucky ones turned into brides of the grown up millitants.Pregnant women are cut open and their babies are removed,. An interaction with survivors of the millitants who got lucky to escape from captivity is always tear jerking as survivors tell the misery they have gone through in the hands of these extremists.
The fate of many captives is unknonwn today as is the case of Leah Sharibu and hundreds of others still held in the forests. The government of Nigeria needs to act, they have not shown anyr resolved effort to end these kidnappings but have only been silent even when pressured to respond to the christian genocide happening in the Fedaral Republic of Nigeria. We can not keep quiet any more, something needs to be done to save Christianiity in the Federal Republic.
Kindly sign this petition to Minister of Defence Maj. General Bashir Salihi Magashi asking him to end christian persecution once and for all in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
