Election Candidates, tell us where you stand!
Update 20 May:
CitizenGO has sent questionnaires to the key players in this election. Despite sending these surveys via email and post, our requests have gone unanswered.
So with the countdown to Election Day and with pre-polling and postal voting already open, we came up with the chart below based on some research we conducted to find out where the parties stood on key issues of importance. This is all based on policies found on their websites or what they have said historically in the media or in parliament.
This chart is only a rough guide as to where parties as a whole stand on key issues.
Remember that it's worthwhile getting to know your local candidates in your area and asking them about their individual values, especially where they personally stand on issues of life, family, faith and freedom. This will accurately inform your decision-making process.
Importantly, your vote matters so make it count on Election Day!
On the Green ballot paper (House of Representatives), number every box in the order of your choice. On the White ballot paper (Senate), voting below the line numbering at least 12 boxes in order of your choice, will maximise your vote.
Are you ready?
May 21st is fast approaching and Australians will have the democratic privilege of voting for the candidates that best represent the values they believe in.
This election is a defining moment.
It is a moment in which we decide the future direction of this country. It is a moment in which we decide if we choose freedom or slavery. If the last 2 years have taught us anything, it is that politicians cannot be trusted and that they must be held accountable.
It goes without saying that political candidates are there to represent YOU and YOUR VALUES.
But sometimes they forget that.
In the midst of a brutal war on religious freedom and the relentless push for draconian COVID-19 mandates across the country, now more than ever we need to raise a voice for freedom and the values important to us.
By signing this petition, you'll be sending a strong message to the candidates: your vote will depend on their response.
That’s why we need to mean business at the polling booths. And like every other general election, one of the two major parties will form government in the Australian Federal Parliament and perhaps one or two of the key minor parties contesting this election will hold the balance of power.
Whichever major party ends up securing victory will be the game-changers on important matters of life, family and freedom.
So, it’s important that grassroots voters like YOU make your voice heard!
We need to ask the big questions, such as where do they stand on freedom of conscience when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines or what is their position on “transgenders” (biological men) in women’s sports?
To save you the hassle of emailing candidates individually or wading through the smorgasbord of political party policies, I have prepared a questionnaire in which we ask parties where they stand on key issues including…
-
the sanctity of human life for both young and old;
-
the preservation of the freedoms of conscience, belief and expression;
-
the regressive agenda to indoctrinate young children with dangerous LGBT agenda;
-
the matter of personal autonomy in matters of health.
These issues, and many more, matter big time. And your vote for those candidates who stand by your values, matters.
That’s why we’re asking you to sign our petition today calling upon the leaders of the two major parties and other key players who may end up holding the balance of power, to respond to our Election Questionnaire right away before 1st May.
This questionnaire will show us exactly where leaders such as Scott Morrison, Pauline Hanson or Craig Kelly stand.
Please read the following questions carefully as the answers to them may impact the way you vote on the 21st of May.
-
Will you oppose teaching children about gender reassignment surgery, cross-hormone treatment and gender theory in schools?
-
Do you oppose “transgenders” (biological men) playing in women’s sports and gender-neutral bathrooms?
-
Do you oppose government sex education in school settings?
-
Do you support personal autonomy in matters of health and support the right of adults to choose vaccines they feel are in the interest of their health?
-
Do you oppose forcing medical professionals to perform medical procedures which they object to because of matters of conscience?
-
Will you uphold the fundamental human right to life, no matter age, frailty, medical condition or otherwise, including opposing abortion from conception up to birth?
-
Will you uphold the fundamental freedoms of religious belief and expression, maintaining the right of all individuals to worship and exercise faith in the way they see fit, rejecting any amendments to the Religious Discrimination Bill to the contrary?
-
Will you ensure Australians will no longer be subjected to draconian COVID-19 mandates and restrictions that the people have endured for the last 2 years?
Tell the parties and candidates: this time I am voting for those who will actively uphold and protect the values I believe in!
The future of Australia is in the hands of voters like you. Don’t think your one vote doesn’t count!
