There are those who claim the proposed Islamic Party of Ontario is insignificant and will go nowhere. But Europe and the UK are proof this is indeed a real and present threat to our sovereignty. It must not be underestimated.

This is a foreign political power which has already infiltratrated muliple levels of the Canadian government in order to take over from within, as stipulated in the Muslim Brotherhood's Explanatory Memorandum. 

Also, consider the timing, now that Justin Trudeau has signed the Global Compact on Migration. Coincidence? I think not.

The leader of the Islamic Party of Ontario, Syed Jawed Anwar, is known for radical and anti-Canadian views. Mr. Anwar:

• reportedly, made statements, which threatens the life of reporter Tarek Fatah.

• believes blasphemy of the "prophet" should be made a punishable crime (a felony) and is calling on the UN, which is "heavily" Sharia-compliant, to demand "all" member Nations comply. He states painful punishment and death are the consequence of blasphemy.

• supports the degradation of Canadian history, values, and laws by promoting the deception that the "Supremacy of God", as proclaimed in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, refers to Allah.

• has made extreme statements regarding punishment of the LGBT community.

• supports Sharia/Islamic law wherein there is no freedom of religion or freedom of speech, no equality between people (the non-muslim is not equal to the Muslim), no equal rights for men and women, and no democracy or separation between religion and state politics.

• plans to form the party based on the Qur'an  

Alliance or support given to the Islamic Party of Ontario is in violation of Canadian law.

In the RCMP's Terrorism and Violent Extremism Awareness Guide it clearly defines radicalization as follows: 

• Radicalization is the process by which individuals are introduced to an overtly ideological message and belief system that encourages movement from moderate, mainstream beliefs toward extreme views.

• Radical thinking becomes a threat to national security when it leads an individual to espouse or engage in violence as a means of achieving political, ideological or religious goals.

Canadian Security Intelligence Service Act, chapter 21, of the Statutes of Canada, 1984 states:

“threats to the security of Canada” means;

(c) activities within or relating to Canada directed toward or in support of the threat or use of acts of serious violence against persons or property for the purpose of achieving a political, religious or ideological objective within Canada or a foreign state,

(b) foreign influenced activities within or relating to Canada that are detrimental to the interests of Canada and are clandestine or deceptive or involve a threat to any person,

We read the following in the section on "Treason" in our Criminal Code of Canada:

Offences Against Public Order

Treason and other Offences against the Queen’s Authority and Person

High treason 

• 46(1) Every one commits high treason who, in Canada,

  • (b) levies war against Canada or does any act preparatory thereto;

Overt act

(4) Where it is treason to conspire with any person, the act of conspiring is an overt act of treason.
