RE: Ban SOGI 123 and Ban and Defund Planned Parenthood

Dear Minister Duncan,

Thank you for your swift action in suspending Planned Parenthood for providing Grade 9 students with sexually graphic "A-Z Sex Cards". They claim it was done in error however, it is not an isolated incident. 

Are you aware that Planned Parenthood is closely tied to Alfred Kinsey, sex scientist and child rapist? Kinsey's research has been used to weaken laws against pornography, rape and child molestation and pave the way for legalizing abortion. Planned Parenthood has a history of promoting deviant sexuality and encouraging promiscuity. Planned Parenthood's executive director, Julian Wotherspoon, responded to the situation by saying they are meant for LGBTQ youth. This is appalling and reveals that Planned Parenthood poses a risk to children as NO child should have access to these cards. 

Further, in April 2023, Action4Canada served you a SOGI 123 Notice of Liability (NOL), letters and an information package, upon learning that Saskatchewan has approved the launch of the SOGI 123 learning resource into all schools starting in September 2023. The NOL alerted you of the harms that are directly resulting from SOGI 123 and the risk of legal liability the Province, and you as an individual, are opening yourselves up to.

SOGI 123 is connected to the UN/WHO's Comprehensive Sexuality Education and Planned Parenthood, and is intended to sexualize children at the earliest age possible. It sexually exploits children and their innocence. It teaches prepubescent children how to masturbate and introduces them to sexual ideologies that are harmful, unscientific and are causing confusion to children, as well as interfering with parental rights, at a time where Child sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of children, including by K-12 school personnel, are on the rise in Canada.  

BC and Alberta launched SOGI 123 in 2016/2017 and it is having a devastating outcome, wherein children en masse are identifying as the opposite sex and being fast-tracked onto harmful puberty blockers, being sterilized and also leading to surgeries that permanently mutilate their body. In the UK 1000 parents have commenced legal action due to the harms their children have been subjected to as a result of the radical ideologies being taught in the schools and on social media. 

Is the Province of Saskatchewan willing to open themselves up to this level of liability? You have a legal duty and responsibility to protect children from harm and to protect their innocence. You also have a Constitutional duty under Section 7 of the Charter, Security of the Person, which the Supreme Court of Canada has held applies to children: mentally, physically and emotionally.

You wrote a letter to School Board Division Chairs, dated June 22, 2023, advising them that Planned Parenthood had been suspended and that you have committed to review all curriculum and relevant resources "to ensure that all materials are age appropriate and generally appropriate for use in schools". Thank you for taking these steps.

However, due to the gravity of this matter, I respectfully demand that you defund Planned Parenthood and ban them from having any access to children and also revoke SOGI 123 in its entirety, as it is not appropriate at any level of education for minors, and is causing serious and measurable harm.
