Expelled & Arrested For The Truth: Help Josh Alexander
Sixteen-year-old Josh Alexander was expelled from attending school for saying that there are only “males and females”.
St. Joseph’s High School in Renfrew, Ontario, decided to expel Alexander for holding “a protest against transgender students using the girls’ washroom after some girls at his school told him it made them uncomfortable.” However, they escalated the suspension to an exclusion, barring Alexander from attending school for the rest of the year, because he bravely refused to back down.
On February 6th, 2023, Josh Alexander broke the exclusion ruling by simply attending class. He was then arrested for attending school.
Renfrew County Catholic District School Board (RCCDSB) decided to ban and have Alexander arrested on the basis that he violated the Ontario Human Rights code.
The Human Rights code states that, “A trans person who identifies and lives as a woman should have access to the women’s washrooms and change rooms”, and that “a trans person should not be required to use a separate washroom or change room because others express discomfort or transphobic attitudes”.
Sign this petition to defend Alexander, call for his immediate return to school, and demand that women’s privacy is restored at St. Joseph’s High School.

Petition to: Renfrew Country Catholic District School Board
To Principal Dan Lennox, Vice-Principal Julie Shreenan, the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board,
I request that Josh Alexander is allowed to attend school and continue his studies. He did nothing wrong in voicing his concerns about biological males being allowed into his school's women’s washrooms.
Alexander used his fundamental and guaranteed Charter Rights’ of Free Expression and Peaceful Protest to bring awareness that the adolescent girls attending your school were upset about having a physical invasion of privacy.
There is no hate spread in having separate changerooms for biological boys and girls. I would expect a school, especially a Catholic one, to have this no-nonsense moral decency policy. Girls need a space where they are free from all prying eyes, especially from biological males.
In addition to allowing Josh Alexander to attend school, I request that both St. Joseph's Catholic Secondary School and the Renfrew Country Catholic District School Board also bans biological males, regardless of what gender they personally identify as, from using the woman's private spaces, including designated washrooms and changerooms for biological females.
