Stop the Pro-Abortion Madness!
First New York, now Virginia!
Pro-abortion politicians appear to be competing against each other to see who can be more barbaric in their treatment of pre-born babies.
Virginia Delegate Kathy Tran recently sponsored a bill to completely dehumanize the child in the womb. The Repeal Act would specifically get rid of Virginia's already minimal third trimester regulations of abortion and would also remove the requirement that life support be provided to babies born alive during a late-term abortion. Thankfully, the bill was defeated in committee, but this bill still has the support of top Democrats, including Governor Ralph Northam. This signals an all-out assault on human life that's beginning to spread across the country.
In a video that has now gone viral, VA Republican House Majority Leader Todd Gilbert posed the hypothetical question to Delegate Tran as to whether a mother going into labor could, at that very moment, change her mind and decide to kill the child. Ms. Tran responded that the bill would indeed allow such a last-minute abortion.
Bills similar to the Repeal Act have been introduced in New Mexico, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Washington, and will be in other states as well. New York passed a similar law after Hillary Clinton and Governor Cuomo lobbied for it. The Governor then ordered the One World Trade Center, a symbol of American resilience to terrorism, to be lit in pink to commemorate the passage of the law.
It's time for pro-lifers to be as bold as the pro-aborts.
Please sign and share this petition to help us send this message loud and clear to legislators, starting in Virginia.
Help us educate Ms. Tran and her fellow Virginia delegates in terms that even politicians can understand; tell them that abortion is the intentional taking of the life of a unique, innocent human person and cannot be tolerated by a civilized people. It is important for all politicians, not just Democrats, to get this message, because for too long, so called pro-life Republican majorities in Virginia and elsewhere, have done little to stop the ongoing brutality of abortion.
Please join us in sending a strong and clear message to Ms. Tran, her fellow Democrats, and to all legislators, that we will no longer be silent while they trample on the rights of the pre-born.
