Expel Planned Parenthood’s Sex Kits from Public Libraries

It’s happening quietly, but unmistakably—in public libraries. The Sacramento Public Library has launched a partnership with Planned Parenthood to offer sex kits to children and teens.

Twelve library branches across Sacramento County now feature unsupervised “sexual health cabinets” placed on library carts within arm’s reach of children and young adolescents. These displays offer:

• Condoms


• Flavored dental dams


• Lubricants


• Pregnancy tests


• QR codes directing minors to Planned Parenthood’s explicit online materials


• Books pushing sexual promiscuity, gender confusion, and radical LGBTQ+ ideology

Now imagine this happening in your own visit to the library.Your toddler wanders off and returns, proudly holding up a packet of flavored condoms—unaware of what they’ve found. Your six-year-old stumbles upon the library cart and begins flipping through a picture book that explains—graphically and step by step—how to use dental dams and lubricants. Or your ten-year-old brings home a pregnancy test tucked into their coat pocket, only for you to find it in the laundry. When questioned, they tell you: “The librarian said I could have it.”

This is not speculation. It is the reality now unfolding in Sacramento’s public libraries. In the same building with bright yellow signs indicating “Safe Place.” This is not about health. It is not about education. It is the normalization of hypersexual content under the guise of “accessibility”—delivered straight into the hands of children, in the very places once trusted for academic growth and imaginative development.

Gone are the days when libraries offered an escape into wholesome literature and the pursuit of knowledge. Today, they are being weaponized—transformed into ideological battlegrounds where innocence is collateral damage.

But that is not where the story ends.

Parents are waking up, communities are standing firm, and ordinary citizens across this nation are doing the extraordinary: reclaiming their public institutions.

We will not surrender these safe spaces to sexualization and propaganda.Libraries were built for truth, for beauty, for the cultivation of the mind and the soul. They belong to families seeking a wholesome place to build childhood memories, not to ideologues from Planned Parenthood intent on sexualizing children.

This campaign is not merely about removing a display. It is about restoring moral clarity, rebuilding trust, and reclaiming the library as a haven of learning, not a staging ground for radical agendas.

We are not spectators to this cultural decline. We are the resistance. And we are rising.

Planned Parenthood—long known for pushing abortion—has now shifted its focus to promoting gender ideology and sexual autonomy in minors. And disturbingly, that agenda is now embedding in our community libraries.Their goal is not care—it’s control. Control over young minds. Control over cultural norms. Control over the family.

And we must ask: What does Planned Parenthood stand to gain by sexualizing children in a public library?

The answer is chilling in its simplicity: future customers.

By normalizing sexual behavior at younger and younger ages, they foster dependency on their worldview—and on their services. Early exposure leads to early experimentation. Early experimentation leads to crisis. And in a crisis, Planned Parenthood positions itself as the solution they planted the seed for.

This is not accidental. It’s a business model disguised as education. A long game of grooming—not in the sensational sense, but in the very real sense of shaping attitudes, lowering inhibitions, and undermining parents, all while securing ideological and financial control.

They are not serving children. They are recruiting them.But Planned Parenthood isn’t acting alone.

We must ask—why would a public library agree to distribute sex kits, lubricants, and radical gender literature to children? Why would it seek out such a partnership at all?

The answer lies in the iron grip of the American Library Association (ALA).

For decades, the ALA has shaped library leadership, policy, and training in accordance with its hard-left agenda. Librarians are trained through ALA-accredited programs, which are required for professional certification. These programs instruct librarians to embrace children’s right to complete autonomy and to reject parental authority, moral standards, and even basic decency in the name of “child equity” and “intellectual freedom of children.”

This isn’t theory. It’s openly admitted.

In 2023, the ALA elected Emily Drabinski—an avowed “Marxist lesbian”—as its president. Upon her election, she boasted:

“I just cannot believe that a Marxist lesbian who believes that collective power is possible to build and can be wielded for a better world is the president-elect of @ALALibrary.”

Under her leadership, the ALA has aggressively promoted drag queen story hours, graphic “queer” literature for minors, and open hostility toward Christian influence in libraries. She has even called for dismantling the Dewey Decimal System because it reflects too much Christian moral order.

Through its policies, recommended reading lists, and embedded training, the ALA has transformed libraries into tools of ideological indoctrination, not learning.

And because library directors, including Sacramento’s, have risen through ALA institutions, these ideas don’t need to be imposed—they’re already accepted.

This is why a public library would eagerly partner with Planned Parenthood. It’s not a betrayal of their values. It’s a fulfillment of them.

These so-called “health cabinets” and accompanying graphic literature bypass parental consent entirely. No oversight. No safeguards. Just a deliberate campaign to sexualize children, groom them into confusion, and quietly erode the role of mothers and fathers in moral formation.

And who pays for it? You do.

The Sacramento Public Library system—under the leadership of Director Peter Coyl—is spending public money to distribute sex kits and propaganda. While parents struggle to shield their children from increasingly explicit media, public institutions are undermining them from within.

What we are witnessing is not merely a lapse in judgment—it is a wholesale capitulation to an ideology that sees parental authority as an obstacle and childhood innocence as expendable.

Twelve branches have already fallen. If unchallenged, this policy will become a model for library systems across the country. What begins in California does not stay in California.

This is not health care. This is indoctrination. This is grooming. It is an assault on truth, beauty, and the family. It is a direct affront to the natural law and to every parent who believes children deserve guidance, not exploitation.

No child should encounter flavored dental dams on the way to story hour. No teenager should be lured into Planned Parenthood’s radical messaging by a QR code posted next to picture books. And no parent should be forced to accept, support, and finance it.

If we delay, we will soon ask ourselves: Who let our libraries become weapons against our own children?
