The American Library Association (ALA) is actively encouraging libraries across the United States to host “Drag Queen Story Hours.” So far, at least 27 locations in 20 states are participating in the story hours.

CitizenGO is working with The Activist Mommy to combat this overt sexual indoctrination in children’s libraries. Sign this petition to send a note directly to the ALA!

Let the ALA know that parents don’t want public libraries to corrupt and confuse their children for the sake of the progressive political agenda.

At the Drag Queen Story Hours, “gender fluid” drag queens read stories about gender identity, ask children to explore their “preferred pronouns,” and encourage children to become drag queens. The Drag Queen Story Hour claims to create a space where “kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.”

Parents across the United States are outraged that these story hours are taking place in children’s libraries… against the wishes of parents in the community! The ALA touts “tolerance,” but they are really telling parents that libraries are no place for Christians, or any parents who don't not want their children indoctrinated by the gender agenda.

Sign this petition to tell the ALA that we don’t want gender indoctrination in children's libraries!

Petition to: American Library Association

Dear ALA President Loida Garcia-Febo, ALA Executive Director Mary W. Ghikas, and ALA Executive Board Members,

I am writing to express my concern regarding the American Library Association’s promotion of “Drag Queen Story Hours.”

These story hours do not belong in children’s libraries. Libraries should be a place where children from all backgrounds feel welcome, and where all parents can feel comfortable bringing their children. Unfortunately, in your quest to promote “inclusion,” the ALA is telling Christians—and others who disagree with the progressive gender agenda—that they are not welcome.

The ALA should not promote a program where drag queens read stories about gender identity, ask children to explore their “preferred pronouns,” and even encourage children to become drag queens. I don’t want my library to indoctrinate children for the sake of the progressive political agenda.
