In south Dallas at the corner of I-35 and Highway 67 near Christ for The Nations Bible College, OUTFRONT Media is featuring a billboard from The Afiya Center, a radical anti-life organization that is encouraging Black Women to undergo abortions as a form of self-care. This incredibly dangerous and misleading signage could contribute to the intentional death of thousands of black children and women.
By hosting this Billboard, OUTFRONT Media is knowingly contributing to the current decline and destruction of black families in general, and of our whole community by promoting this organization. In a July 10, 2018 article in the Wall St. Journal entitled “Let’s Talk About the Black Abortion Rate", Jason Riley reported that in New York City, thousands more black babies are aborted each year than are born alive. "According to a city Health Department report released in May, between 2012 and 2016 black mothers terminated 136,426 pregnancies and gave birth to 118,127 babies. By contrast, births far surpassed abortions among whites, Asians and Hispanics.”
This disturbing trend is nationwide "Nationally, black women terminate pregnancies at far higher rates than other women as well. In 2014, 36% of all abortions were performed on black women, who are just 13% of the female population.“
By promoting the Afiya Center’s message, OUTFRONT Media is not only irresponsibly playing an active role in destroying the black community, but they are actively engaging in placing women of all communities in danger. We therefore respectfully ask that you take down this billboard for the sake of families across North Texas and across the country.
