Dear Haio Barbeito, President, Walmart Canada, 

On Wednesday, August 12th, Walmart mandated that all shoppers must wear face masks in order to enter their stores and have access to groceries and other essential items.

This mandate is unconstitutional, and not based on science or facts. Further, it imposes draconian regulations, reminiscent of totalitarian regimes wherein people are forced to comply, or risk losing access to essential services, such as food and medication. Holding the most vulnerable people at ransom, who may not have access to transit to shop elsewhere.

What will be next? Mandated vaccines and micro-chips?   

The following video provides multiple scientific studies, from over the past decade, to show why face masks do not work. Based on the facts, science, and peer reviewed studies and results from randomized controlled tests, Walmart is putting Canadians at greater risk of transmission in mandating their mask policy. A further report on trials conducted by the NCBI confirms a significantly higher risk of infection caused by wearing cloth masks.  

Further, the following report confirms masks do not work to prevent respiratory influenza-like illnesses, or respiratory illnesses believed to be transmitted by droplets and aerosol particles, due to the size of the particles, which are too fine to be blocked. The report goes on to explain that, "a 'second wave' of an epidemic will not be a consequence of human sin regarding mask wearing and hand shaking. Rather, the “second wave” is an inescapable consequence of an air-dryness-driven many-fold increase in disease contagiousness, in a population that has not yet attained immunity."

"All" the studies found that masks do not provide protection and, further, that improper use of the masks increases the risk of transmission.  

In closing, Rocco Galati, a constitutional lawyer, has recently commenced legal action against government and corporate institutions who are in violation of the Constitution and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. In the Statement of Claim, Mr. Galati makes the following declaration in response to mandatory face masks; 

"mandatory wearing of face masks is unconstitutional...and is both ineffective and poses a health risk, and is a violation of s.7 of the Charter (Liberty and security of the person) in violating the physical and psychological integrity, by seriously restricting a person's primordial right to breath, as well as restricting the very right of liberty, to choose how to breath, as well as pose a physical and medical danger."

To avoid potential legal action, I recommend Walmart reverse their decision. I further notify you that should Walmart decide to uphold the mandated face mask policy, I will boycott your stores indefinitely, and request others do the same.
