Please sign a petition in response to the gruesome report out of the United Kingdom.

NHS Trust has admitted that 15,000 aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat National Health Service hospitals around the United Kingdom.

The Department of Health must send a clear statement that this practice is unacceptable. Though we are thankful that they admitted to wrong doing and stopped the practice, more must be done.

Urge the Department of Health to hold NHS Administrators accountable for their deplorable and shameful practices.

NHS policies on remains of unborn babies

To: Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health, Dr. Daniel Poulter, and Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt:

As you recently acknowledged, the practices of incinerating the remains of aborted and miscarried babies as and with “clinical waste,” and furthermore, often using those remains to heat NHS facilities are “totally unacceptable.”

It must be recognized that you are not dealing with “clinical waste,” but rather you are dealing with the remains of unborn babies. Swift action to hold all responsible parties accountable must be taken.

I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation looking into these practices and hold the found responsible parties accountable for their actions.

Thank you in advance for investigating this sensitive matter.
