Texas Christian offers credit for internships with abortion providers
Texas Christian University offers students college credit for internships with Planned Parenthood. That’s right. At Texas Christian, one of your internship options is working with the largest abortion provider in the country.
Please sign this petition and tell TCU that a Christian college cannot support the work of the largest abortion provider in the country.
Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas (PPGT), the Planned Parenthood chapter that this internship would assist, was exposed last summer by the Center for Medical Progress of selling the body parts of aborted babies.
Christian universities should be striving to empower women to choose life, not supporting the abortion industry. If the Christian community isn’t creating a culture of life, more and more women will be stuck in a tragic cycle of death and more and more babies will never be born.
The church is not immune from abortion. In fact, according to a recent Lifeway Research study, 70 percent of women who get abortions claim to be Christian. This is a travesty and one that our churches cannot ignore. Within the Christian community, we must be striving to create a culture of life and support for unexpected mothers.
But when Christian institutions support abortion giants like Planned Parenthood, we can only expect the number of Christian women who choose death to rise.
Let’s join our voices together and ask TCU to change their internship policy towards Planned Parenthood and carefully evaluate what kind of culture they are creating on campus—a culture of life and support or of death and isolation.
