Francuski predsjednik Emmanuel Macron predstavio je zastupnicima u Europskom parlamentu glavne ciljeve i strategiju francuskog upravljanja Europskom unijom u prvoj polovici 2022. godine.

On January 19, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke in Strasbourg in favor of including abortion in the European Union's charter of fundamental rights.
In 2013, the European Parliament passed a resolution reaffirming that "the formulation and implementation of sexual and reproductive health and rights policies and sex education in schools is a matter for the Member States", citing Article 168 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union on Public Health. , and in particular, paragraph 7, which states that the Union's action shall respect the responsibility of the Member States for determining their health policy and for the organization and delivery of health services and health care.
In addition, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that abortion is not a human right nor is it defined as such in international documents, unlike the right to life that every human being has.
I urge you to protect the principle of subsidiarity of EU Member States and oppose the introduction of abortion in the Charter of the European Union.
