It is a long-established principle of British democracy that members of public bodies should declare any conflict of interest, and should exclude themselves from any and all discussion where such interests suggest or render them liable to bias.
Brighton and Hove city council has apparently issued advice to its teachers to tell Primary school children that trans-boys and men and non-binary people can have periods. We call for it be made mandatory for all sex education delivered in UK schools to contain full and comprehensive information of the health risks attaching to non-monogamous sex.
